The 37 mm Petrichor Skeleton draws inspiration from the best of 1970s horology, built around classic proportions and everyday wearability. Its retro-industrial case is paired with a domed sapphire crystal that refines the profile and allows maximum light to reach the NH72 skeleton movement, revealing the mechanics in full view. Finished with a quick-adjustment bracelet, the Petrichor balances transparency, comfort, and function in a purpose-built platform for modern Seiko modding.

Silver case, warm rosegold accents — the Petrichor 37mm Two-Tone Rose Gold pairs a brushed 316L stainless steel case with rose gold PVD hands and indexes that complement the NH72 skeleton movement’s golden bridge tone. The rose gold elements sit between the movement’s natural warm color and a true pink gold, creating visual coherence between what you see on the dial and the mechanics underneath. A domed sapphire crystal adds depth and curvature to the layered skeleton architecture. 37 mm diameter, 11.6 mm thick, integrated bracelet, exhibition caseback, 100 m water resistance. Fully assembled.

Designed by Nomods

The Petrichor is a Nomods original — designed from the ground up, not a homage to any existing watch. The silver-and-rosegold two-tone was developed as a contemporary alternative to the monochrome Silver. The rose gold PVD accents were shade-matched to the NH72’s natural bridge color, so when you look through the skeleton dial, the hands, indexes, and movement bridges share a warm metallic register. The domed sapphire crystal amplifies this effect — its curved surface creates an optical layer between you and the movement, adding perceived depth. The uncoated silver case means no PVD to scratch through, making this one of the most durable daily-wear options in the lineup.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the rose gold compare to the full silver version?

The Silver is fully monochrome — silver case, silver hands, silver indexes. This Two-Tone Rose Gold adds warmth through rose gold PVD on the hands and indexes only, while keeping the same silver case and bracelet. The rose gold accents give the dial more contrast and connect visually with the NH72’s golden bridges.

Does the Petrichor have a screw-down crown?

The Petrichor has a push-pull crown and is rated to 100 m water resistance. That is sufficient for rain, hand washing, and accidental submersion. For dedicated diving, a purpose-built dive watch with screw-down crown is recommended.

Can I swap the dial for a non-skeleton option?

Yes. The Petrichor case accepts any 28.5 mm dial. Swap the skeleton dial for a solid dial and pair it with an NH35 or NH36 movement instead. See the Petrichor Silver case page for compatible dial and movement options, or read our build guide for instructions.
