The Royal Oak 41 mm case is about proportion and presence. Designed as a larger integrated case for Seiko modding, it keeps the sharp geometry and clean lines of its inspiration while being properly scaled for the wrist. Every surface is finished with purpose, creating a case that feels solid, balanced, and confident—built to be worn, not just looked at.

The Gold Royal Oak 41mm wraps the same proven 41 mm platform in a rich gold finish over 316L stainless steel. The octagonal bezel, polished rehaut, and brushed mid-case create the same sharp geometry as the silver version, now with a warm yellow-gold tone that pairs with gold-accent dials and hands. At 41 mm diameter and 51 mm lug-to-lug, this is a statement case for modders who want their build to stand out. Sapphire crystal available in Blue AR, Clear AR, or No AR, screw-down crown, and 100 m water resistance when assembled correctly. Compatible with NH35, NH38, NH70, NH71, and NH72 movements. Includes a spacer ring for 30.8 mm dials.

Dials: 30.8 mm dials fit with the included spacer ring. 31.8 mm dials fit directly. The 30.8 mm Gold Index Skeleton Dial is designed to match this case’s gold tone.

Hands: Longer handsets are recommended for the 41 mm dial opening. The Royal Oak Gold Hands match this case finish and are proportioned for the larger dial.

Straps: 22 mm lug width. Compatible with Royal Oak 41mm rubber straps and any standard 22 mm strap or NATO.

  • Sapphire crystal (pre-installed, variant-dependent AR coating)
  • Spacer ring (for 30.8 mm dials)
  • Screw-down crown

  • Spring bars

Movement, dial, hands, strap, and tools are not included.

Why We Chose This Case

Gold-tone watches are the most eye-catching builds in the Seiko modding world, and getting the gold shade right matters more than most modders realize. A cheap gold finish turns brassy within weeks. The Royal Oak 41mm Gold uses a finish that maintains its warm yellow-gold character over time. The polished rehaut is where this case really separates itself — it creates a bright ring of gold between the dial and bezel that catches light from every angle, adding perceived depth to the dial window. Combined with the sharp octagonal bezel geometry and 100 m water resistance, this is a complete foundation for a gold Royal Oak build at a fraction of the cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

What movements fit the Royal Oak 41mm case?

The NH35, NH38, NH70, NH71, and NH72 all fit without modification. These cover standard automatic, skeleton, and open-heart configurations from the Seiko NH movement family.

What dial size fits this case?

30.8 mm dials fit with the included spacer ring. 31.8 mm dials fit directly without the spacer. The Gold Index Skeleton Dial is a direct match for this case’s gold tone.

Is the gold finish real gold?

No. The case is 316L stainless steel with a gold-tone coating. The finish is designed for durability through daily wear and resists scratching better than standard gold plating. The look is gold-tone at an accessible price point.

What handset should I use with the 41mm case?

Use longer hands designed for larger dial openings. The Royal Oak Gold Hands are proportioned for this case and match the gold finish. Standard-length hands built for smaller cases will look undersized.
