The Gold Skeleton Royal Oak dial in 28.5 mm — an open-cut design with gold-finished markers that lets the full mechanical architecture of the NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement show through from the dial side. The gold finish gives the angular index markers a bold, warm presence that contrasts with the steel-toned bridges and rotor visible beneath. At 0.4 mm thick and 28.5 mm in diameter, this dial fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case directly. C3 Super-LumiNova on the indexes for low-light legibility. Designed by Nomods.

Compatibility

Movements: Requires a skeleton or open-heart movement — the NH70, NH71, or NH72. The open layout of the dial is designed to display the movement’s bridges, balance wheel, and rotor. Standard movements like the NH35 have a solid dial side and are not intended for skeleton dials.

Cases: The 28.5 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 Gold case and the Petrichor case directly. It does not fit the Royal Oak 41mm or Seikonaut, which require 30.8 mm dials.

What’s Included

  • Gold skeleton dial (28.5 mm)

Movement, hands, case, and tools are not included.

Designed by Nomods

This dial is an original Nomods skeleton design. The gold-finished markers are machined to follow the angular Royal Oak aesthetic, with each index shaped to echo the octagonal bezel geometry of the case it was designed for. C3 Super-LumiNova is applied to every index for reliable low-light readability. The open sections of the dial are cut to expose the maximum amount of movement architecture while retaining enough structure for the indexes and chapter ring to remain rigid. The gold finish pairs naturally with the NH72’s golden bridge tone for a cohesive warm look from bezel to rotor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 28.5 mm size fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case. It does not fit the Royal Oak 41mm or the Seikonaut, which need a 30.8 mm dial.

What movements are compatible?

The NH70, NH71, and NH72. These skeleton movements have an open architecture visible from the dial side. Standard movements like the NH35 or NH36 will not display any mechanical detail through this dial.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

No. The NH35 has a solid plate on the dial side, so there would be nothing visible through the skeleton openings. Use an NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement instead.
