The rose gold and chocolate pairing was designed as the warmest combination in the Petrichor range. Most watches default to silver, black, or blue — this one deliberately avoids all of those. The chocolate brown dial shares the same tonal family as the rose gold case, creating a monochromatic warm palette rather than a high-contrast look. Under the domed sapphire, the brown deepens at steep angles and lightens in direct sun. Compared to the Petrichor Skeleton Rose Gold, this solid-dial version trades exposed mechanics for a richer, more focused dial presence that lets the warm colorway speak for itself.

What is the difference between the skeleton and non-skeleton Petrichor in rose gold?
The Petrichor Skeleton Rose Gold has an NH72 skeleton movement with an open-worked dial that exposes the gears and bridges. This version uses the NH35 with a solid chocolate brown dial, hiding the movement entirely. Both share the same rose gold PVD case, domed sapphire crystal, integrated bracelet, and 100 m water resistance.
Will the rose gold PVD wear off?
PVD coatings are durable for daily wear. Deep scratches on PVD surfaces can expose the steel beneath, which would appear silver against the rose gold. Normal desk-diving and everyday contact will not affect the finish. For the most scratch-tolerant option, choose the Petrichor Black or Petrichor White in natural stainless steel.
Is the Petrichor waterproof enough for swimming?
The Petrichor is rated to 100 m water resistance, which covers swimming, snorkeling, and rain. It is not rated for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is pushed in before water exposure. We recommend rinsing with fresh water after saltwater contact to preserve the bracelet and PVD finish.
