The Silver Index Nautilus Skeleton Dial pairs polished silver index markers with open skeleton cutouts that reveal the movement beating underneath. Designed in-house by Nomods, this 30.8 mm dial is built primarily for skeleton movements — the NH70, NH71, and NH72. Silver indexes sit against the exposed movement for a refined, technical look that balances visibility with legibility. Each marker is finished with C3 Super-LumiNova for reliable low-light reading, and the dial feet are positioned for 3 o’clock crown placement to fit Seikonaut, Nautilus-style, and Royal Oak 41 mm cases.

Specifications

Design Skeleton / open-heart

Compatibility

Movements: NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements only. These movements have an open rotor and skeletonized plates that are visible through the dial cutouts. Standard movements like the NH35 and NH36 have a solid rotor that blocks the skeleton view and are not recommended for this dial.

Cases: The 30.8 mm diameter fits the Seikonaut Ultra-Thin Nautilus case (direct fit), and the Royal Oak 41 mm case with a spacer ring. Any case designed for 30.8 mm Seiko mod dials with a 3 o’clock crown will work.

Hands: Any NH-series hands with correct shaft diameters will fit. Silver-toned hands complement this dial best for a monochrome build.

  • Movement spacer gasket

Movement, hands, case, and tools are not included.

Designed by Nomods

This dial is designed in-house by Nomods, not sourced from a generic parts catalog. The silver indexes are individually applied and polished to a mirror finish before lume is added, ensuring each marker catches light consistently across the dial. The skeleton cutout geometry is calculated to expose the maximum amount of movement architecture while keeping the indexes structurally supported. Every dial is inspected for lume consistency and index alignment before shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

What movements fit this skeleton dial?

This dial is designed for skeleton movements only: the Seiko NH70, NH71, and NH72. These movements have skeletonized plates and an open rotor that are visible through the dial cutouts, which is the entire point of a skeleton dial.

Can I use this dial with an NH35 or NH36?

It is not recommended. The NH35 and NH36 have a solid rotor and non-skeletonized plates, so the cutouts in this dial would show solid metal instead of exposed mechanics. The visual effect of a skeleton dial depends on using a skeleton movement underneath.

What cases fit this 30.8 mm dial?

The 30.8 mm size fits the Seikonaut Ultra-Thin Nautilus case (direct fit) and the Royal Oak 41 mm case (with a spacer ring). It does not fit cases designed for 28.5 mm dials without modification.

What is the difference between 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials?

The two sizes fit different cases. The 28.5 mm is the standard SKX and smaller case size, while 30.8 mm fits larger cases like the Seikonaut Nautilus and Royal Oak 41 mm. Read our complete dial size guide for details.
