The Silver Index Skeleton dial in 30.8 mm — a larger-format skeleton dial designed by Nomods for the Royal Oak 41mm case and the Seikonaut case. Silver indexes frame the full mechanical architecture of the NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement, providing clear time reading over a background of moving bridges, balance wheel, and rotor. The 30.8 mm diameter is purpose-built for 41 mm case platforms where a 28.5 mm dial would leave an exposed gap. C3 Super-LumiNova on all markers for low-light legibility.

Specifications

Specification Value
Diameter 30.8 mm
Compatible Movements NH70, NH71, NH72
Compatible Cases Royal Oak 41mm, Seikonaut
Material Stainless steel with silver finish
Lume C3 Super-LumiNova
Design Skeleton / open-cut with index markers

Compatibility

Movements: Requires a skeleton or open-heart movement — the NH70, NH71, or NH72. The open sections of the dial are designed to display the movement’s mechanical architecture from the front. Standard movements like the NH35 or NH36 will not show any visible detail through the skeleton openings.

Cases: The 30.8 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 41mm case (with the spacer ring included with the case) and the Seikonaut case directly. It does not fit the Royal Oak 37mm V2 or the Petrichor — those require a 28.5 mm dial.

What’s Included

  • Silver index skeleton dial (30.8 mm)

Movement, hands, case, spacer ring, and tools are not included. The spacer ring is included with the Royal Oak 41mm case.

Designed by Nomods

This dial is an original Nomods design created specifically for the 41 mm Royal Oak case platform. The 30.8 mm diameter fills the larger dial opening of the 41mm case properly — standard 28.5 mm dials would leave an exposed ring around the edge. The silver index markers are machined to the same angular standard as our 28.5 mm Royal Oak dials, scaled up proportionally for the bigger case. Each index carries C3 Super-LumiNova for consistent glow across all twelve positions. The skeleton architecture maximises the visible area of the NH70/NH72 movement while keeping the indexes structurally rigid and precisely aligned.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 30.8 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 41mm case (with the included spacer ring) and the Seikonaut case directly. It does not fit the Royal Oak 37mm V2 or the Petrichor, which need 28.5 mm dials.

What movements are compatible?

The NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements. These are the only Seiko NH movements with an open architecture visible from the dial side. Standard movements like the NH35 have a solid plate and are not designed for skeleton dials.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

No. The NH35 has a solid dial side with no exposed mechanical detail. This skeleton dial is designed for the NH70, NH71, or NH72, where the movement’s bridges and balance wheel are visible from the front.

What is the difference between 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials?

28.5 mm dials fit smaller cases like the Royal Oak 37mm V2 and Petrichor. 30.8 mm dials fit larger cases like the Royal Oak 41mm and Seikonaut. The sizes are not interchangeable. See our dial size guide for the full comparison.
