Complete Your Build

The Nomods Waffle Dial 28.5mm is a textured metallic dial with a guilloché waffle pattern, designed in-house for Seiko mods on 28.5 mm dial cases. Each cell of the waffle grid amplifies the colour shift as the wrist moves, giving the dial a distinct depth that flat-finish dials cannot match. Compatible with NH35 and NH36 automatic movements, the 28.5 mm diameter drops directly into the Royal Oak 37mm V2 and Petrichor 37mm cases. Applied markers with C3 Super-LumiNova provide clear visibility in low light.

Choose your dial colour from five metallic finishes — Ice Blue / Tiffany (the bright pastel turquoise often called Tiffany blue), Black Metallic, Gray Metallic, Blue Metallic, or Dark Green Metallic — paired with your preferred index colour: Silver, Rose Gold, or Gold. Use the variant selectors above to configure your dial.

Movements: NH35 and NH36 automatic movements. Standard solid-rotor movements with 3 o’clock crown. This is a solid dial — not designed for skeleton movements like the NH70, NH71, or NH72.

Cases: The 28.5 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 and Petrichor 37mm Case directly. Not compatible with 41 mm cases or the Seikonaut, which require 30.8 mm dials.

What's Included

  • Metallic waffle dial in your selected colour and index combination (28.5 mm)

Tools are not included. Dial installation requires a dial protector, hand-removal tool, and steady tweezers.

Designed by Nomods

The Waffle Dial is part of our in-house dial range developed for Seiko mods on 28.5 mm cases. The guilloché waffle pattern is machined cell-by-cell into the dial blank before the metallic finish is applied, so each square catches and releases light independently — the texture is the design. Every dial is individually inspected for finish quality and lume application before shipping.

Yes. We use genuine TMI (Time Module Inc.) NH-series automatic movements — NH35, NH34 GMT, NH70 and NH72 skeleton — the same movements used by Seiko in their own watches.

A complete watch is fully assembled, regulated, and ready to wear. Parts are individual components — cases, dials, hands, movements — sold to builders who want to assemble their own watch. If you're new to modding, start with a case kit or a complete build.
