Upgrade Your Build with the NH72 Skeleton Movement – A Seiko Modding Favorite

The Seiko NH72 is one of the most popular skeletonized movements in the Seiko modding world. With its open heart architecture and dark-plated bridges, it's the perfect choice for showcasing the inner mechanics of your next custom build.

This automatic, hand-windable, hacking movement features a 21,600 bph beat rate and a 41-hour power reserve. Ideal for skeleton mod watches, the NH72 is fully compatible with NH35/NH70 cases, dials, and Seiko mod parts — making it one of the most versatile choices for modders building open heart Seiko mods or full Seiko skeleton builds.

Whether you're creating a stealthy gunmetal watch or a showpiece with gold highlights, the NH72 provides reliable performance and stunning visual depth straight out of the box.

If you are having a hard time removing the screws from the bracelet, take the case and bracelet under some warm soapy water and wiggle each link back and forth. This will clean out residue from production which makes the screws easier to remove and improve the bracelet quality over all

AR coating stands for Anti reflective coating and reduces the reflection in the crystal enhancing visibility. Blue AR has a slightly tinted reflection while Clear AR has not.

No it does not! Our 37mm Royal Oak Seiko Modding case arrives as one complete case, and is ready to house a movement straight from the box.

In order to make this Seiko Mod Case as thin as possible, there is limited room in the back of the case. Therefore some custom NH35 rotors do not fit. Pay close attention to the respective rotor. Does it exceed the height of the middle screw? If yes then it may be too thick for this case.

We recommend a 28.5/29mm dial for our 37mm Royal Oak Case. The typical 31.8mm mod dials that many Royal Oak Mod Cases use are too big.
