Gold polished hand set for Royal Oak and Nautilus-style Seiko mod builds. The warm gold tone adds a luxury accent that works especially well against dark dials — black, navy, or deep green — where the contrast makes the hands immediately legible. C3 SuperLuminova lume on the hour and minute hands keeps the watch readable after dark. Compatible with NH35, NH36, NH70, NH71, and NH72 movements, fitting both 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dial sizes. This is the V1 Nomods hand design in gold: fully polished surfaces with clean baton geometry.

Compatibility

The gold V1 hands share the same fitment as the silver and rose gold variants. They install on any NH-family movement — NH35, NH36, NH70, NH71, or NH72 — and work with 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials. Case compatibility includes the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case, the Royal Oak 41mm case, the Petrichor case, and Seikonaut / Nautilus cases. For the best visual result, match gold hands to a gold-tone case so the indices, case, and bracelet share the same color temperature.

What’s Included

  • Hand set (hour hand, minute hand, seconds hand)
  • Installation requires a hand press tool (not included)

Designed by Nomods

The V1 gold hand set uses the same baton geometry as the silver and rose gold versions, finished with a gold PVD coating over stainless steel. The polished surface was designed to complement gold-tone cases and bracelets where every visible metal component shares the same warm hue. The gold coating is applied via physical vapor deposition for durability and consistent color across the hour, minute, and seconds hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between V1 and V2 gold hands?

The V1 gold hands are fully polished across the entire surface for a uniform reflective look. The V2 gold hands introduce a brushed center channel flanked by polished edges, which creates a two-tone texture effect within the gold finish. The V1 also supports NH70 and NH71 movements in addition to NH35, NH36, and NH72.

Will these gold hands match a gold Royal Oak case?

Yes. The gold PVD coating on these hands is designed to match the gold finish on Nomods cases. For the closest match, pair them with the Royal Oak 37mm gold case or the Royal Oak 41mm gold case. They also work well as a contrasting accent on silver or gunmetal cases if you prefer a two-tone look.

Do I need special tools to install watch hands?

Yes. You need a hand press tool to seat the hands onto the movement pinions and a hand remover to take off any existing hands. These tools are inexpensive and widely available. If you are new to modding, our step-by-step build guide walks through the entire hand installation process with photos.
