Gold V2 hand set with a brushed center surface and polished beveled edges. The dual-finish treatment on these hands mirrors the alternating textures found on Royal Oak cases and bracelets, creating a design-consistent build when paired with gold-tone Nomods components. The brushed channel tames the reflectivity of a full gold polish, making the hands easier to read under direct sunlight while the polished edges still catch light at angles. C3 SuperLuminova lume provides nighttime legibility. Compatible with NH35, NH36, and NH72 movements. Fits 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials.

Compatibility

The gold V2 hands fit NH35, NH36, and NH72 movements and are sized for both 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials. They install on all Nomods case platforms: the Royal Oak 37mm V2 gold case, the Royal Oak 41mm gold case, the Petrichor gold case, and Seikonaut / Nautilus cases. Pairing gold V2 hands with a gold Nomods case produces a fully cohesive build where the brushed-and-polished hand surfaces echo the case and bracelet finishing.

What’s Included

  • Hand set (hour hand, minute hand, seconds hand)
  • Installation requires a hand press tool (not included)

Designed by Nomods

The V2 gold hands were developed alongside the silver and rose gold V2 sets as an evolution of the original polished V1 design. The brushed center channel on the gold V2 serves a practical purpose beyond aesthetics: fully polished gold surfaces can produce intense reflections that make hands harder to read under bright light. The brushed texture softens that glare while the polished edges maintain the luxury accent. The gold PVD coating is consistent across all three hands for uniform color.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do V2 gold hands compare to V1 gold hands?

The V1 gold hands are fully mirror-polished, which gives a brighter, more uniform reflective surface. The V2 gold hands have a brushed center with polished edges for a more textured, refined look that reduces glare. The V1 set also supports NH70 and NH71 movements, while the V2 is designed for NH35, NH36, and NH72.

Will these fit a Petrichor or Seikonaut case?

Yes. The V2 hands use the same standard NH-series hand post and fit any case that accepts NH35, NH36, or NH72 movements. This includes the Petrichor, Seikonaut / Nautilus, and all Royal Oak case variants. They work with both 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials.

What tools do I need to install these hands?

A hand press tool is essential for pushing the hands onto the movement pinions without damage. A hand remover is needed to pull off existing hands. Both are standard watchmaking tools. See our build guide for a walkthrough of the installation process.
