Complete Your Build

A clean Submariner-style Seiko mod built under the Barretten name — Nomods’ original brand. The 40 mm stainless steel diver case pairs a sapphire crystal with an NH35 automatic movement and 100 m water resistance. This watch is on clearance because it carries the previous Barretten branding and packaging, not because of any defect or quality difference. Same workshop, same build standards, different logo. Only one unit available.

Designed by Nomods

This watch was built when Nomods operated under the Barretten name. The rebranding to Nomods changed the logo and packaging, but the workshop, tooling, and assembly process stayed the same. The Submariner-style case is the same 40 mm diver platform used in later Nomods builds — stainless steel case, screw-down crown, sapphire crystal, and pressure-tested to 100 m. The clearance price reflects the older branding, not a change in quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this watch on clearance?

This watch was built and packaged under the Barretten name — Nomods’ original brand identity. The watch carries the old logo and ships in a Barretten-branded box. The clearance price reflects the discontinued branding, not a quality issue. The specs and build process are identical to current Nomods watches.

Is the quality different from current Nomods watches?

No. The NH35 movement, sapphire crystal, stainless steel case, and 100 m water resistance are the same components and assembly standards used in current Nomods production. The only difference is the Barretten logo on the caseback and packaging.

Can I swap parts on this watch?

Yes. The 40 mm diver case accepts standard 28.5 mm dials and NH-series compatible hands. The bezel insert is a standard 38 mm size. Read our complete build guide for step-by-step swap instructions.
