Seikonaut – Black Skeleton Seiko Mod with Silver Dial & Gray Strap (40mm)
This 40mm Seikonaut brings modern minimalism to the world of modding. With a matte black PVD case, brushed silver hands and indexes, and a neutral gray rubber strap, this build is all about mechanical clarity and clean execution.
Powered by the NH72 skeleton movement, the dial is stripped back to expose the inner workings — offering a full display of the gear train, balance wheel, and bridge structure. It delivers far more mechanical expression than a standard Seiko dial, or even a partial Seiko Nautilus open heart cutout.
The result is a mod that feels balanced and grounded. The cool-toned palette and skeletonized display offer presence without flash, making this build a go-to for those who love detail but lean toward understated design.
