Seiko Mod Seikonaut – Full Gold Skeletonized Watch with Gray Strap

This full gold Seikonaut-style Seiko mod pairs luxury finish with modern utility. The brushed gold case is matched with polished dial components and a neutral gray rubber strap, creating a wearable contrast that feels both refined and everyday-ready.

At its core is the Seiko NH72 movement, a reliable and fully openworked caliber that transforms this into a true automatic skeleton watch. The dial is completely skeletonized, revealing the mechanics that are usually hidden behind a standard Seiko dial — a visual upgrade for modders who want more than surface-level design.

The 40mm case pairs seamlessly with all compatible Seiko mod watches components and is built for tight tolerances and long-term durability. It’s a skeletonized watch that balances bold materials, clean finishes, and the mechanical detail enthusiasts demand.

An excellent option for builders seeking the aesthetics of high-end openworked designs but delivered through the versatility of Seiko-based modding.

Disclaimer: This is a custom-built watch assembled by us using genuine TMI (Time Module Inc.) movements, a subsidiary of Seiko Instruments Inc., part of Seiko Group Corporation.

If you are having a hard time removing the screws from the bracelet, take the case and bracelet under some warm soapy water and wiggle each link back and forth. This will clean out residue from production which makes the screws easier to remove and improve the bracelet quality over all

No it does not! Our 37mm Royal Oak Seiko Modding case arrives as one complete case, and is ready to house a movement straight from the box.

In order to make this Seiko Mod Case as thin as possible, there is limited room in the back of the case. Therefore some custom NH35 rotors do not fit. Pay close attention to the respective rotor. Does it exceed the height of the middle screw? If yes then it may be too thick for this case.

We recommend a 28.5/29mm dial for our 37mm Royal Oak Case. The typical 31.8mm mod dials that many Royal Oak Mod Cases use are too big.
