The Gold Index Skeleton dial in 30.8 mm — bold, warm yellow-gold markers over an open skeleton layout designed by Nomods for the Royal Oak 41mm case and the Seikonaut case. The gold finish transforms the angular index markers into luminous accents that catch light from every angle, creating visual depth and warmth against the exposed steel bridges and rotor of the NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement. The 30.8 mm diameter fills the dial opening of 41 mm case platforms completely. C3 Super-LumiNova on all indexes for low-light legibility.

Compatibility

Movements: Requires a skeleton or open-heart movement — the NH70, NH71, or NH72. The skeleton openings are designed to display the movement’s bridges, balance wheel, and rotor from the dial side. Standard movements like the NH35 or NH36 have a solid dial side and are not intended for skeleton dials.

Cases: The 30.8 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 41mm case (with the spacer ring included with the case) and the Seikonaut case directly. It does not fit the Royal Oak 37mm V2 or the Petrichor — those require 28.5 mm dials.

What’s Included

  • Gold index skeleton dial (30.8 mm)

Movement, hands, case, spacer ring, and tools are not included. The spacer ring is included with the Royal Oak 41mm case.

Designed by Nomods

This is an original Nomods design engineered for the 41 mm Royal Oak case. The 30.8 mm diameter ensures full coverage of the larger dial opening that 28.5 mm dials cannot fill. The gold-finished markers are machined to follow the same angular geometry as our 28.5 mm Royal Oak skeleton dials, scaled proportionally for the bigger platform. The gold tone is calibrated to complement the NH72 movement’s brass-coloured bridges — when paired with a gold case and gold hands, every visible layer from bezel to rotor shares a unified warm palette. Each index is individually lumed with C3 Super-LumiNova for reliable nighttime readability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 30.8 mm size fits the Royal Oak 41mm case (with the included spacer ring) and the Seikonaut case directly. It will not fit the Royal Oak 37mm V2 or the Petrichor, which require 28.5 mm dials.

What movements are compatible?

The NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements. These have an open dial-side architecture that is visible through the skeleton openings. Standard movements like the NH35 will not work because they have a solid dial-side plate.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

No. The NH35 has a solid plate on the dial side, so the skeleton openings would reveal nothing. Use an NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement, which are designed to be viewed from the front of the watch.

What is the difference between 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials?

28.5 mm dials fit smaller cases such as the Royal Oak 37mm V2 and Petrichor. 30.8 mm dials fit larger cases such as the Royal Oak 41mm and Seikonaut. The sizes are not interchangeable. See our dial size guide for the full comparison.
