The Army Green Nautilus Skeleton Dial brings a military-inspired tone to the skeleton format. The matte-brushed green surface has an understated, tactical character that sets it apart from the metallic finishes in the lineup. Polished beveled edges frame the skeleton cutouts, where the NH70, NH71, or NH72 movement is visible beneath. Designed in-house by Nomods at 30.8 mm, this dial fits Seikonaut and Nautilus-style cases. The green-and-silver contrast between the dial surface and exposed movement creates a field-watch-meets-skeleton aesthetic. C3 Super-LumiNova on the hour markers delivers reliable glow in low-light conditions.

Note: This dial is made specifically for the NH72, with dial feet positioned for a direct fit into the movement. When using a grey spacer ring, the dial foot holes may be covered, so a small cutout in the spacer might be required. Feel free to reach out for quick and easy guidance.

Compatibility

Movements: NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements only. The army green surface frames the cutouts where the movement’s skeletonized plates and open rotor are visible. A standard movement like the NH35 or NH36 has a solid rotor that would block the skeleton view through the openings.

Cases: Fits the Seikonaut Ultra-Thin Nautilus case directly at 30.8 mm. Also works in the Royal Oak 41 mm case with a spacer ring. The army green pairs well with silver, gun metal, or black case finishes for different moods.

Hands: Any NH-series hands will fit. Silver hands offer clean legibility against the green, while black hands push the military aesthetic further.

Designed by Nomods

The Army Green skeleton dial is a Nomods in-house design from the color series. Green is one of the most requested dial colors in the modding community, but achieving a balanced military green on steel is tricky — too much yellow and it looks olive, too much blue and it reads as teal. Nomods developed this specific army green through multiple coating iterations to land on a matte, earthy tone that stays true under warm and cool lighting. The directional brushing underneath the coating adds subtle texture that prevents the surface from looking flat or plastic, and the polished beveled edges provide a sharp contrast line between the matte green and the bright steel of the movement visible through the cutouts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What movements fit this army green skeleton dial?

The Seiko NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements. The silver skeletonized movement plates create a natural contrast against the green surface when viewed through the dial’s cutouts.

Can I use an NH35 with this skeleton dial?

Not recommended. The NH35 has a solid rotor and non-skeletonized plates. The cutouts would show solid metal instead of the exposed mechanics that give this dial its visual character. Use an NH70, NH71, or NH72.

What case color works best with army green?

Silver is the most versatile pairing, creating a clean military-field-watch look. Gun metal adds a darker, more tactical mood. Black PVD creates a stealthy combination where the green is the only color accent. All three work well depending on the aesthetic you want.

What is the difference between 28.5 mm and 30.8 mm dials?

The 28.5 mm fits smaller cases like the SKX, while 30.8 mm fits larger cases like the Seikonaut Nautilus and Royal Oak 41 mm. See our dial size guide for a full breakdown.
