The Gold Index Nautilus Skeleton Dial brings warm, classic elegance to a skeleton build. Polished gold index markers frame the open cutouts where the NH70, NH71, or NH72 movement is visible through the dial face. Designed in-house by Nomods at 30.8 mm, this dial is sized for Seikonaut and Nautilus-style cases. The gold tone pairs naturally with gold or two-tone case finishes, and each index is treated with C3 Super-LumiNova for dependable glow in low light. Dial feet are set for 3 o’clock crown positioning.

Specifications

Specification Value
Diameter 30.8 mm
Compatible Movements NH70, NH71, NH72
Material Stainless steel with polished gold indexes
Lume C3 Super-LumiNova
Crown Position 3 o’clock
Design Skeleton / open-heart

Compatibility

Movements: NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements only. The skeleton cutouts are designed to showcase the open rotor and skeletonized plates of these movements. Non-skeleton movements like the NH35 or NH36 will show solid metal through the cutouts, defeating the purpose of the skeleton design.

Cases: Fits the Seikonaut Ultra-Thin Nautilus case directly, and the Royal Oak 41 mm case with a spacer ring. Any 30.8 mm Seiko mod case with a 3 o’clock crown will accept this dial.

Hands: Any NH-series hands will fit. Gold hands create a cohesive warm-tone build, while silver hands offer a two-tone contrast.

Designed by Nomods

Every Nomods Nautilus skeleton dial is designed in-house rather than pulled from a generic supplier catalog. The gold indexes on this dial are finished with a warm polish that avoids the overly yellow or brassy appearance found on cheaper alternatives. Each index is positioned for symmetry and lumed individually with C3 Super-LumiNova before final inspection. The cutout pattern is engineered to show the maximum amount of movement detail while leaving enough structure to support the indexes and maintain rigidity during installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What movements fit this gold skeleton dial?

This dial is designed primarily for skeleton movements: the Seiko NH70, NH71, and NH72. These movements have an open rotor and skeletonized plates that are visible through the dial’s cutouts.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

Not recommended. The NH35 has a solid rotor and non-skeletonized plates. Through the cutouts you would see solid metal rather than exposed mechanics, which removes the visual appeal of a skeleton dial.

What cases work with this 30.8 mm dial?

The Seikonaut Ultra-Thin Nautilus case accepts this dial directly. The Royal Oak 41 mm case also works with a spacer ring. Any Seiko mod case designed for 30.8 mm dials and a 3 o’clock crown position will be compatible.

Does the gold color match the Yellow Gold Seikonaut case?

Yes. The gold tone on this dial is developed to complement the Yellow Gold Seikonaut PVD finish. The indexes have a warm, polished gold that sits well against the brushed gold of the case for a cohesive build.
