The V2 Gold Skeleton Royal Oak dial in 28.5 mm — warm gold markers with the upgraded V2 layout that adds a dedicated 12 o’clock index for better symmetry, plus enhanced C3 Super-LumiNova across all positions. The gold finish catches light on every facet of the angular index markers, creating a rich contrast against the steel-toned bridges and rotor of the NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement beneath. At 0.4 mm thick and 28.5 mm in diameter, this dial drops directly into the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case. Designed by Nomods.

Compatibility

Movements: Requires a skeleton or open-heart movement — the NH70, NH71, or NH72. The open sections of the dial expose the movement’s bridges, balance wheel, and rotor. Standard movements like the NH35 or NH36 have a solid dial side and will not display any mechanical detail through this dial.

Cases: The 28.5 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 Gold case and the Petrichor case directly. Not compatible with the Royal Oak 41mm or Seikonaut — those require 30.8 mm dials.

Designed by Nomods

The V2 skeleton dial is our second-generation design, refined from builder feedback on the original V1. The key upgrade is the added 12 o’clock index — the V1 left that position open, which created a slight visual imbalance at the top of the dial. The V2 completes the full ring of markers for a more symmetrical layout. Lume application was also improved with thicker C3 Super-LumiNova deposits on each index for a brighter, more uniform glow. The gold finish on the V2 is calibrated to complement the NH72’s golden bridge tone, so when the movement is visible through the dial, the gold markers and the movement’s brass-coloured bridges share a unified warm palette.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 28.5 mm size fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case directly. It will not fit the Royal Oak 41mm or the Seikonaut, which require a 30.8 mm dial.

What is the difference between V1 and V2?

The V2 adds a 12 o’clock index for better visual balance and has upgraded C3 Super-LumiNova with thicker deposits for a brighter glow. The size, movement compatibility, and overall skeleton architecture are the same as V1.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

No. The NH35 is a standard movement with a solid dial side. There is nothing to see through the skeleton openings. You need an NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement for this dial.

What movements are compatible?

The NH70, NH71, and NH72 skeleton movements from the Seiko NH family. All three have an open architecture that is visible from the dial side.
