Royal Oak 37mm V2 Case – Rose Gold

The Royal Oak 37 mm Case V2 is an optimized design built specifically for Seiko modding. A sapphire crystal with a domed underside lowers the rehaut while maintaining a flat external profile, and a stepped caseback reduces perceived thickness on the wrist. With correct proportions and functional refinement, it stands among the thinnest Seiko modding cases available, remaining true to its inspiration rather than a simple scale copy.

The V2 Ultrathin Royal Oak case in rose gold — warm, pinkish-gold PVD over 316L stainless steel with a remarkably slim 9.95 mm profile. The rose gold finish shifts between copper and pink depending on the light, giving the angular octagonal bezel and integrated lugs a softer, more luxurious character than the standard silver or black options. At 37 mm diameter with 48 mm lug-to-lug, this case sits comfortably on a wide range of wrist sizes. Sapphire crystal with blue or clear AR coating, screw-down crown, 100 m water resistance. Compatible with NH35, NH36, NH38, NH70, NH71, and NH72 movements. Choose solid or exhibition caseback.

Why the V2 Ultrathin

The V2 is the second generation of our Royal Oak 37mm platform, re-engineered for a thinner case without compromising 100 m water resistance. At 9.95 mm with the solid caseback, it sits closer to the wrist than most Royal Oak-style Seiko mod cases, which typically exceed 11 mm. The rose gold PVD finish was developed to complement the NH72 skeleton movement’s golden bridge tone — when paired with a rose gold skeleton dial, the case, dial elements, and visible movement mechanics share a unified warm palette. The angular geometry and polished rehaut capture the original Royal Oak’s design language at a fraction of the cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

What movements fit this case?

The Royal Oak 37mm V2 case accepts Seiko NH35, NH36, NH38, NH70, NH71, and NH72 movements. These share the same case fitment and crown position. The 7S26 and 7S36 are not compatible.

What is the difference between solid and exhibition caseback?

The solid caseback provides the thinnest profile at 9.95 mm. The exhibition caseback adds a sapphire window to display the movement, increasing thickness to 10.3 mm. Both maintain 100 m water resistance. Exhibition is popular with NH72 skeleton movements where you can see the rotor and bridges from the back.

How does the V2 compare to the V1?

The V2 is thinner — 9.95 mm compared to the V1’s thicker profile — and features improved case finishing with sharper bevels and a more refined brushed texture. The overall dimensions and movement compatibility remain the same.
