Complete Your Build

The V2 Silver Skeleton Royal Oak dial in 28.5 mm — the second generation of our skeleton dial with an added 12 o’clock index for improved symmetry and upgraded C3 Super-LumiNova application across all markers. The silver-finished indexes frame the mechanical heart of the NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement, creating a layered look where polished steel markers sit above the moving bridges and balance wheel. At 0.4 mm thick and 28.5 mm in diameter, the V2 fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case without modification. Designed by Nomods.

Compatibility

Movements: Requires a skeleton or open-heart movement — the NH70, NH71, or NH72. The exposed sections of the dial reveal the movement’s bridges, rotor, and balance wheel. Standard movements like the NH35 or NH36 are not compatible — they have a solid dial side with no visible detail.

Cases: The 28.5 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 Silver case and the Petrichor case directly. Not compatible with the Royal Oak 41mm or Seikonaut — those require a 30.8 mm dial.

Movement, hands, case, and tools are not included.

Designed by Nomods

The V2 is the second generation of our skeleton dial — redesigned based on feedback from builders who wanted better visual balance at the top of the dial. The original V1 left the 12 o’clock position open, which created a slight asymmetry. The V2 adds a dedicated 12 o’clock index that completes the ring of markers and improves overall symmetry. The lume application was also upgraded: thicker C3 Super-LumiNova deposits on every index for a brighter, more even glow in low light. The skeleton architecture still maximises movement visibility while keeping each index rigid and precisely positioned. This is an original Nomods design, not a generic aftermarket part.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 28.5 mm size fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor case directly. It does not fit the 41mm Royal Oak case or the Seikonaut, which need a 30.8 mm dial.

What is the difference between V1 and V2?

The V2 adds a 12 o’clock index that the V1 lacks, improving the visual symmetry of the dial. The V2 also has an upgraded lume application with thicker C3 Super-LumiNova deposits for a brighter glow. The overall size, movement compatibility, and skeleton architecture remain the same.

Can I use this dial with an NH35?

No. The NH35 is a standard automatic movement with a solid dial side. There would be nothing visible through the skeleton openings. Use an NH70, NH71, or NH72 skeleton movement, which are designed to be viewed from the front.

What movements are compatible?

The NH70, NH71, and NH72. All three are skeleton movements from the Seiko NH family with an open architecture visible through the dial side.

Yes. We use genuine TMI (Time Module Inc.) NH-series automatic movements — NH35, NH34 GMT, NH70 and NH72 skeleton — the same movements used by Seiko in their own watches.

A complete watch is fully assembled, regulated, and ready to wear. Parts are individual components — cases, dials, hands, movements — sold to builders who want to assemble their own watch. If you're new to modding, start with a case kit or a complete build.
