Royal Oak 37mm Skeleton – Rose Gold

Regular price3.600,00 kr
/

The Royal Oak 37 mm NH72 Skeleton is built around a fascination with mechanics and proportion. The open-worked NH72 movement is left fully exposed, allowing the structure and motion to speak for themselves. A sapphire crystal with a flat exterior and domed underside draws light into the movement while keeping the watch slim and well balanced on the wrist. Carefully assembled and refined with intention, it’s a skeleton Seiko mod focused on clarity, restraint, and respect for the craft.

Rose gold case, matching integrated bracelet, and a fully skeletonized NH72 dial — the Royal Oak 37mm Rose Gold is the warmest colorway in the 37mm range. The PVD rosegold coating gives the 316L stainless steel case a refined, slightly pink-gold tone that pairs naturally with the NH72 movement’s golden bridges visible through the open dial. At 37 mm diameter and 11.2 mm thick, this is built for anyone who prefers a compact Royal Oak proportion. Sapphire crystal, mineral caseback, 100 m water resistance. Fully assembled.

The rose gold PVD shade was selected to sit between the warm champagne of the NH72’s bridges and a true pink gold. This means the movement and case share a visual warmth without the color mismatch common in rose gold watches at this price point. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is applied for long-term durability — it outlasts traditional plating through daily wear. The polished bevels on the octagonal bezel catch light against the brushed flat surfaces, creating the same light-play effect that defines the Royal Oak design language at any size.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the rose gold PVD finish wear off?

PVD coating is significantly more durable than electroplating. With normal daily wear, the rose gold finish holds up well. Avoid abrasive surfaces and harsh chemicals. If long-term coating durability is a concern, the natural stainless steel version will not show wear in the same way.

What is the difference between rose gold and gold?

The Gold version has a warmer, more yellow-gold tone. The Rose Gold has a slightly pinkish warmth. Both are PVD coated over 316L steel with identical specs. The rose gold sits closer to the NH72 movement’s natural bridge color, creating a more seamless look through the skeleton dial.

Is 37 mm too small for a watch?

At 37 mm diameter and 11.2 mm thick, this is the most compact skeleton Royal Oak in the Nomods catalog. The 37 mm size is a classic watch proportion — the same diameter as many vintage Rolex and Omega references. The integrated bracelet has removable links for precise sizing.
