The Seikonaut NH35 is built for everyday wear, focusing on balance, comfort, and longevity. Its ultra-thin case keeps the watch close to the wrist, while the reliable NH35 automatic movement provides proven performance and easy serviceability. A sapphire crystal enhances clarity and durability, and the integrated case design ensures a cohesive, uninterrupted flow from case to bracelet. It’s a clean, functional take on the Nautilus-inspired Seiko mod—refined without excess.

Complete Your Build

The Nomods Nautilus Blue brings a rich sunburst blue dial to the Nautilus platform — a solid-dial counterpart to the skeleton versions. The 40 mm 316L stainless steel case sits just 9.95 mm thick, giving this watch an ultra-thin profile that wears closer to a dress watch than most Seiko mods. Inside, the NH35 automatic movement delivers hacking, hand-winding, and a 41-hour power reserve. Sapphire crystal up front, integrated steel bracelet with the signature Nautilus-style links, and 50 m water resistance round out the build. Four units available.

Designed by Nomods

The Nautilus line launched with skeleton dials that exposed the NH movement through open-worked designs. The solid-dial Nautilus series is the next step — same ultra-thin 9.95 mm case, same integrated bracelet, same Nautilus-style silhouette, but with clean sunburst dials for a more understated look. The blue variant uses a textured sunburst finish that shifts between deep navy and bright cobalt depending on the angle of light. Where the skeleton versions are about mechanical visibility, the solid-dial Nautilus is about restraint — a watch that works equally well with a suit or a t-shirt.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Nautilus Blue differ from the skeleton versions?

The case, bracelet, crystal, movement, and water resistance are identical. The difference is the dial: instead of an open-worked skeleton design that reveals the NH movement, the Nautilus Blue uses a solid sunburst blue dial with applied indices. The result is a cleaner, more traditional watch face on the same ultra-thin platform.

Can I swap the blue dial for a skeleton dial later?

Yes. The Nautilus case accepts any 30.8 mm dial compatible with NH35 or NH36 movements. You can switch to a Nautilus skeleton dial or any other compatible dial using standard modding tools.

Is 50 m water resistance enough for daily wear?

50 m water resistance covers handwashing, rain, and accidental splashes. It is not rated for swimming or submersion. The slim 9.95 mm case prioritizes wearability over dive-grade sealing. If you need a swim-ready watch, the Royal Oak platform offers 100 m water resistance in a slightly thicker case.
