Petrichor 37mm – Black
The 37 mm Petrichor Case draws inspiration from the best of 1970s horology. Designed around classic proportions and everyday wearability, it maintains a distinctive retro-industrial character. A clean, legible alternative to the skeleton Petrichor. The black sunburst dial provides classic contrast against the brushed silver case, delivering a focused reading experience without exposed mechanics. Same 37 mm Petrichor platform with domed sapphire crystal and integrated stainless steel bracelet, powered by the reliable NH35 automatic. For those who prefer a solid dial with straightforward time-telling over the visual complexity of a skeleton movement.

The Petrichor Non-Skeleton range offers the same 37 mm case quality, domed sapphire crystal, and integrated bracelet as the skeleton versions — but with solid dials for wearers who prioritize legibility and understated style. The black dial is the most versatile option in the non-skeleton lineup: high contrast against the silver hands and indexes, easy to read at a glance, and neutral enough to pair with anything. Where the Petrichor Skeleton Silver draws attention to the NH72’s exposed mechanics, this black-dial version lets the case shape and domed crystal speak for themselves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the NH35 and NH72 Petrichor?
The NH72 versions have a skeleton movement with an open-worked dial that exposes the gears and bridges beneath. This NH35 version uses a solid black dial that covers the movement entirely, providing a cleaner, more traditional watch face. The case, bracelet, crystal, and water resistance are identical across both lines.
Can I swap the dial to a skeleton version?
Yes, but you would also need to swap the movement. The NH35 uses a standard rotor, while skeleton dials require an NH72 movement with a skeletonized rotor. The case accepts both. Read our build guide for step-by-step instructions on movement swaps.
Is 37 mm a good size for an everyday watch?
Yes. At 37 mm, the Petrichor sits comfortably on wrists from about 15 cm (6 inches) and up. The integrated bracelet follows the wrist contour closely, and the domed crystal keeps the overall profile low. It wears smaller than a typical 40–41 mm diver.
