The Royal Oak 41 mm case is about proportion and presence. Designed as a larger integrated case for Seiko modding, it keeps the sharp geometry and clean lines of its inspiration while being properly scaled for the wrist. Every surface is finished with purpose, creating a case that feels solid, balanced, and confident—built to be worn, not just looked at.

Black PVD case with gold skeleton hands and indexes — this Royal Oak 41mm two-tone build pairs the stealth of a dark case with the warmth of gold accents. The gold dial elements align with the NH72 skeleton movement’s natural golden bridges, creating a unified warm layer against the black surround. At 41 mm, the exposed mechanics have room to be the focal point. 316L stainless steel under the black PVD, sapphire crystal, 100 m water resistance, rubber strap. Fully assembled.

Designed by Nomods

The black-and-gold combination was designed as the most dramatic two-tone in the 41mm range. The dark PVD case acts as a frame, letting the gold hands, indexes, and the NH72’s natural golden bridges occupy center stage. The gold PVD accents were shade-matched to the movement’s bridge tone for visual continuity — gold elements on the dial connect seamlessly with the gold mechanics beneath. This is the black-tie version of the Seikoak skeleton: understated case, bold accents.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this compare to the full Gold version?

The full Gold has gold coating on the entire case — bezel, sides, crown, everything. This Black PVD Gold keeps the case dark and limits gold to the hands and indexes only, creating a higher-contrast two-tone effect. Same NH72 movement, same sapphire crystal, same 100 m water resistance.

Will the black coating scratch?

PVD coating is durable for daily wear. Deep scratches can expose the steel underneath, and silver scratch marks are more visible on a black watch than on natural steel. Treat it like any coated watch — avoid abrasive surfaces. The Silver version is the most scratch-tolerant option.

Can I change the strap?

Yes. Royal Oak 41mm rubber straps are available in green, blue, white, and black. Quick-change with no tools needed.
