Complete Your Build

A deep metallic green dial with guilloché waffle texture, designed in-house by Nomods. The dark green sunburst finish shifts between forest green and near-black depending on the light angle, with the waffle pattern adding a structured grid of reflections across the entire dial surface. This is the darkest, most understated color in the waffle lineup — richly colored in bright conditions but stealth-like in dim environments. At 28.5 mm diameter, this dial fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 and Petrichor 37mm cases directly. Compatible with NH35 and NH36 automatic movements. Applied markers with C3 Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility.

Designed by Nomods

This waffle dial is an original Nomods design. The guilloché waffle texture is precision-stamped into the brass dial blank before the dark metallic green sunburst finish is applied. The sunburst radiates outward from the center, interacting with the perpendicular waffle grid to create a layered depth effect where color intensity varies from cell to cell depending on the viewing angle. Green dials have become one of the defining trends in contemporary watchmaking, appearing across both luxury and independent brands. The dark green metallic finish chosen for this dial leans into the forest-green end of the spectrum — rich enough to register as distinctly green in daylight but dark enough to read as nearly black in low light, giving builds a subtle color identity that only reveals itself up close.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cases fit this dial?

The 28.5 mm diameter fits the Royal Oak 37mm V2 case and the Petrichor 37mm case. It does not fit the Royal Oak 41mm or Seikonaut (Nautilus) cases, which require 30.8 mm dials.

What movements are compatible?

The Seiko NH35 and NH36 automatic movements. This is a solid waffle dial, not a skeleton dial. It fully covers the movement and is not designed for skeleton movements like the NH70, NH71, or NH72.

What is the difference between a waffle dial and a skeleton dial?

A waffle dial is solid with a stamped guilloché grid pattern that covers the movement. A skeleton dial has open cutouts to expose the movement beneath, and is meant for skeleton movements like the NH72. Waffle dials go with NH35/NH36; skeleton dials go with NH70/NH71/NH72.

Can I use this dial in a Nautilus or Seikonaut case?

No. The Seikonaut case needs a 30.8 mm dial. This dial is 28.5 mm and will not fit. Browse our 30.8 mm dials for Nautilus-compatible options.
